Yesterday was the opening of the exhibition and today from 6pm to 9 pm the cocktails "Gio Ponti Collection":an installation of home furnishings design by Gio Ponti between 1953 and 1958.

Looking at key recent projects, from David Chipperfield, Renzo Piano, Diener & Diener, Will Alsop and Caruso St John amongst others, and exploring the origins of architecture's often problematic relationship to colour - from the 19th century polychromy debate about classical architecture to the more recent obsession with 'any colour as long as it's white' (or tasteful grey)!

Dixon’s thirty year career includes being head of Design for Habitat, Creative Director at Artek, and running his own lighting and furniture company since 2003. This event coincides with the publication of Dixionary, the first monograph on Tom Dixon.
